Nazareth -- The childhood home of Jesus where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to announce the birth of the Messiah. This is the small village where Jesus learned from the Bible and from his parents as he grew into adulthood.
- Church of St. Gabriel (Greek Annunciation Church) -- The Greek Orthodox Church believes that the spring found within the church is the site of the annunciation.
- 'The Synagogue' -- The traditional location of the synagogue where Jesus preached on the Sabbath (Matthew 13, Mark 6). Christian traditions holds that this is the synagogue where Jesus studied and prayed in his formative years.
- Mary's Well (Spring) -- Pilgrim tradition tells us that this spring -- the main natural water source in Nazareth -- is where Mary had come daily to draw water and to wash Jesus' clothes when he was a child. Jesus himself would have come to the spring to draw water for his family. According to tradition, during the 17th Century, holy water from the well was sent to France in bottles.
